There's something about the wide, open spaces and awesome beauty of our land that inspires people to create. Alaska offers an amazing array of writers, poets, musicians, jewelry-makers, beaders, potters, painters, sculptors, weavers . . . the list goes on and on. Some are famous, some are unknown. All are incredible, if you ask me, for the devotion and passion they pour into their art.
